He was also an instructor at Barraquer Eye Institute, Barcelona .
He has been involved with Lions Eye Hospital and Vision Care eye hospital for organising various charitable screening camps and conducted multiple cataract surgical camps in the state.

He also involves in periodic Health write-ups in news papers like Times of India and Samaj and other health magazines and also is an invited guest in Health awareness T V shows like Sanjivani, Hello Doctor and Arogya Bharatam.
He has popularised Phacoemulsification and Refractive surgeries in Odisha.
Developed the first group practice concept superspeciality eye hospital in Odisha
